How to become a partner
At the beginning of Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi, Paul thanks God “because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day” (Phil 1:5). Paul was no longer physically with the Philippians, but still had a deep bond of friendship and partnership with them. Why? Because Paul knew God had ordained and orchestrated their partnership, and it was through this partnership that he was enabled and empowered to proclaim the gospel in far-off places.
We, too, need partners. Paul’s partnership with the Philippians was sustaining. He says, “You Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you” (Phil 4:15). Similarly, we invite you to partner with us in prayer and financial support to enable the gospel to go forward and the kingdom of God to be advanced. Wycliffe is funded by people who believe in this vision to make the Bible accessible to all people in all languages. Would you consider joining the work God is doing around the world as a partner of our ministry? Together we can work to end global Bible poverty.
